About This Course

An in-depth critical exploration into the texts, genres, and scholarship involving the first five books of the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) known as Torah (Pentateuch), sacred to both Judaism and Christianity. We will scrutinize key contents, structures, contexts, and questions pertaining to Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy in order to comprehend their theological values, literary dimensions, and sociocultural dynamics.
